MY NAIL STORY
I started my journey in the beauty and nail industry a few years ago as am at home user. I had been getting my nails done since I was 16 years old, but after a couple of poor-quality jobs in a row, I decided I wanted to try it myself.
After obtaining my license as a nail tech, and a certification in European manicure and pedicure, I opened my own little nail studio in 2019. It was going amazing, but then the pandemic hit, and unfortunately, I had to close up and move out.
I was devastated, but in the midst of adversity, I learned the importance of focusing on what I can control and not on what I cannot.
Closing my nail studio gave me the opportunity to create my own nail polish line. This is how Painted Desert was re-birthed as an e-commerce brand in 2020. Our growth since then has been nothing short of amazing.
Our flagship product Quick Gel Tips are now recognized by many industry experts, nail techs, press-on nail makers, and careful home users.
With the overwhelming support from our customers, we were able to expand our catalog for us to become a one-stop shop for those who need supplies for gel extensions, gel nails, and press-on nail making.
Painted Desert still has so many exciting things in the pipeline for the future, and I cannot wait to share them all with you.
