Q: How did you get into nails?
A: I have anxiety which comes with a bad habit of biting my nails. For as long as I can remember I’ve had short bitten nails.
I got into nails in 2017 after I watched an influencer do a live demonstration on dip powder nails.
I was soo amazed by the strength it provided, giving me hope that I could stop biting my nails. So, I bought a kit and I’ve been obsessed with doing my nails ever since.
In 2019, I started my own YouTube Channel to share my journey and all the tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way while doing my nails at home.
One of the things I learned on this journey was how to do nail extensions with full coverage gel tips. I taught myself how to do them and it’s become my favorite way to do my nails.
I feel very fortunate to be able to share this passion with others and teach them how they too can have beautiful nails.
Q: What's your favorite Painted Desert product and why?
A: The Xtra Short Almond Quick Gel Tips are my absolute favorite product.
They are my favorite shape to wear, they fit my nails so well and make me feel feminine and fierce whenever I wear them (which is always!).
Q: What's your one tip for those new to nails?
A: Don’t be afraid to try.
And when you do try, don’t hold yourself to unreasonably high standards. We all were beginners once and you will get better with practice. So if you love it and it brings you joy, keep trying.
